Fees & Event Deadlines

The fees are currently estimated (to be firmed up after the pre-registration closes) and due as follows;


Player fee has now been updated to €200 due to fewer teams than expected 

PRE-REGISTRATION DEADLINES -

  • TOC will invoice and collect all fees for EUC
  • All fees are in Euro € (please ensure your payment is made in the right currency)
  • The team fee is NOT reimbursable for any team that withdraws after 9th January 2023. Teams withdrawing for your own reasons does not fall into the Cancellation policy for event cancellation. The player fee can be transferred to another player but is NOT reimbursable (subject to certain exceptions and restrictions)
  • All bank fees and transfer charges are at the cost of the payer – if there are any outstanding monies they will be collected in cash during on-site event registration
  • All fees will be confirmed and clearly outlined AFTER team pre-registration closes on the 9th December
  • Please be sure that your final roster (Deadline 15 May 2023) is accurate, adding extra names after this date will incur an increase of the (Non-) Player Fee by €50 (€240 per player) in addition to the Late Admin Fee (50€).

Player Fees will include event accreditation, field and roster access for play, access to all player zones and meetings, access to the party and also the event gift and can access the podium to receive medals.

Non-Playing Team Support (NPTS) fees are for people travelling and associated with the team (coaches, medics, support, admin and guests) but are not taking the field to play. They will receive the same benefits as a player but will not be on any roster and are not entitled to play. Spectators are non-accredited individuals who will not be able to participate with the team or take part in any of the event or team functions and will be treated as spectators.

EVENT CANCELLATION POLICY

EUF will continue to monitor the impact and effects of the COVID-19 Pandemic and will work with the TOC to follow the advice and recommendations from International health and safety authorities for travel to and from Ireland. 

Should the event need to be cancelled (i.e. due to Covid-19), the following cancellation terms will apply to all event fee payments;

  • Cancellation announced 12  Dec 2022 – 15 Jan 2023 – 100% of Team Fees collected will be returned.
  • Cancellation announced 16 Jan – 26 Feb 2023 – 75% of Team Fees collected will be returned
  • Cancellation announced 27 Feb – 9 April 2023 – 50% of Team Fees and 90% of Players Fees collected will be returned.
  • Cancellation announced 10 April – 21 May 2023 – 25% of Team Fees and 70% of Players Fees collected will be returned.
  • Cancellation announced 22 May – 25 June 2023 – 25% of Team Fees and 60% of Players Fees collected will be returned.
  • Cancellation announced 26 June – 15 July 2023 – 25% of Team Fees and 50% of Players Fees collected will be returned.

TEAM CANCELLATION POLICY

This section focuses on the cases where teams need to cancel on their own:

  • Cancellation announced 12  Dec 2022 – 9 Jan 2023 – 100% of Team Fees collected will be returned
  • Cancellation announced 10 Jan 2023 – 31 March 2023 – 0% of Team Fees collected will be returned
  • Cancellation announced 31 March 2023 – 15 May 2023 – 0% of Team Fees collected will be returned and Players Fee can be transferred to another player or 50% refund in case of cancellation
  • Cancellation announced 16 May 2023 – 15 July 2023 – 0% of Team Fees collected will be returned and Players Fee can be transferred to another player or 0% refund in case of cancellation
  • In case of injury/illness, EUF and the TOC will review on a case by case basis and require some documented evidence to support the claim.

If teams miss the payment deadline for the Teamfee, they forfeit their guaranteed spot. EUF will decide on a case by case basis whether a spot can be offered after the deadline. .

In case teams miss the payment deadlines, we will add an extra admin cost of €50 per week. The payments need to be on the TOC accounts by the deadline date, therefore we please ask you to account for bank delays and payment transfer time.

If teams were not able to provide payments until the start of the tournament the Tournament Rules Group (TRG) will decide on the sanctions for the tournament.
